Genesis Flyer

£649.99 £499.00

Genesis Flyer got some small but significant tweaks for 2016, turning it into what Genesis feel makes for the ideal singlespeed winter trainer. Sharing the same tube spec and geometry as the sure-footed Equilibrium, we’ve opted for the classic ‘winter trainer’ 42/17T combo, returning an open-road, cadence-friendly 65.2 Gear Inches you will also find options for fixed/freewheel setup straight out of the box.

It’s shod with Maxxis Re-Fuse puncture protection rubber but should you find yourself in need of dropping out the rear wheel, the traditional forward-facing Campagnolo-style horizontal dropouts makes it a doddle, even with the mudguard fitted. Last but by no means least, Genesis have added their own custom XL length Chromoplastic mudguards for unbeatable protection from the elements. A well thought through, lightweight, low-maintenance bike that laughs in the face of grotty weather.
